Hello and welcome to the page of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Science - Zagazig University.

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Science seeks to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030 and achieve sustainable development goals. The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector contributes to activating the college’s role in solving societal problems and contributing for finding solutions to environmental development issues, protecting them from pollution, and rationalizing the use of resources. Through the activities organized by the college, field training programs for students, labor market qualifying programs for graduates, as well as joint cooperation in applied research projects related to the environment and workshops to solve industrial problems. This cooperation extends through the services and work provided to them by the centers and units of a special nature in the college. To deepen the concept of community participation, the college has adopted an ambitious system of signing cooperation protocols with many external parties. Finally, I call on all societal parties, including civil society institutions, my fellow faculty members, the supporting staff, the staff, and my students, to actively participate in all activities and programs provided by the College’s Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector to achieve the maximum rates of community participation in order to achieve the advancement and progress we hope. The sector strives to work to secure the work environment by providing security and safety requirements for human cadres and all infrastructure facilities at the college, as well as communicating with graduates to assist in continuous training and provide job opportunities for them.
